Best Event Innovation Winners

We were so delighted to have been named winners of the Best Event Innovation category at the Event Industry awards.

We beat off stiff competition from companies across the country to be named winners at the  awards held in Citywest, Dublin. The event is noted as the event industry’s event of the year with over 350 people attending the annual awards ceremony.

We were recognised for our work at the World Meeting of Families event in 2018 on behalf of our client, Trócaire. Our team were named best innovation for our unique exhibition display as part of the event, highlighting the challenges of those Trócaire work to support.

The World Meeting of Families 2018 was the ninth World Meeting of Families and took place in Dublin, Ireland between 21 and 26 August 2018. The event began with an Opening Ceremony that occurred in each of Ireland’s Dioceses. This was followed by a three-day Pastoral Congress at the RDS. The Meeting culminated in Pope Francis’s visit to Ireland.

KC Services were shortlisted for three awards on the night, Best Events Team and Best Event Design and came away with the Best Event Innovation award.

The Trócaire display created by KC Services included the recreation of a mini village using materials and displays to represent real life at some of Trócaire’s key focus areas.

We are delighted to have received the recognition for our work with Trócaire. They are a great client to work with and the award is a testament of the hard work of our small but mighty team. We are proud as a local Drogheda company to take home this Industry award.
